FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the Recommended Duration for this Trip?
Equipment, Gear, and Fishing Licenses
There’s no need to bring your own fishing gear, as rental waders, rods, and reels are included in the trip price. However, if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own equipment. The guide will provide the necessary flies, which are included in the total cost.
We also handle fishing license arrangements, but daily permits must be paid directly to the guide, as they vary by location and cannot be prepaid or managed in advance.
For guided fishing activities, we recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing, such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Additionally, warm clothing is essential, as temperatures in the Alps can change rapidly, even if the weather initially seems mild. Your guide will inform you of any additional gear requirements before the activity begins.
If you’re unsure about the best rod to use:
- For dry fly fishing, we recommend a 9-foot, 4/5wt rod.
- For nymph fishing, a 10/11-foot, 2/3wt rod is ideal.
Regarding flies, these are included in the price. They are hand-tied by the guides and specifically chosen for their high effectiveness in our waters.
What Parallel Activities do we Offer for Companions?
We provide a variety of activities for companions or anglers on rest days. These activities start and end at the hotel and typically last around 8 hours. Available options include:
- Cultural tours
- Winery visits and gastronomic activities
- Hiking through national and natural parks
Our aim is to ensure an enjoyable and entertaining stay for both anglers and their companions.
Can this Trip be Combined with Another Destination?
Can I Cancel the Trip due to Bad Weather?
Trips are generally not canceled due to bad weather, as Trento is well-equipped for fly fishing even after heavy rainfall in the preceding days. However, if fishing is deemed unfeasible, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer the option to cancel with a full refund, but only in cases where fishing is impossible.
We also provide alternatives such as cultural, gastronomic, or hiking activities, always seeking a solution that benefits both parties.
What are the Payment Methods and Cancellation Policy?
Payment and Refunds
The trip cost is paid in two parts: a 50% deposit upon booking confirmation and the remaining 50% at least 90 days before the trip. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or debit card through a secure payment gateway. Failure to complete payment within the established time frame will be considered a cancellation by the traveler.
Cancellation or Modification by the Traveler
If the traveler cancels less than 90 days before the start of the trip, they will lose 100% of the trip cost unless a substitute participant is found. For cancellations made more than 90 days in advance, 50% of the trip cost will be forfeited, while the remaining 50% will be refunded or credited toward future trips.
